CrossFit Full Throttle Kids!


The CrossFit Full Throttle Kids program is designed to equip your child with the tools they need to be healthy, disciplined and promote an overall love of fitness at an early age. The program provides the same  functional strength and conditioning that CrossFit offers, with elements of practical, real life self-defense and safety like “Stranger, danger”,  anti-bullying, and more. We combine these core concepts to provide a high energy, interactive and FUN class for your child, in a safe and positive environment.  True to the nature of CrossFit, everything your child will participate in can be scaled or modified based on their fitness, ability and experience.


There are some “side effects” of The CrossFit Full Throttle Kids program:

1)      Improved focus and concentration

2)      Build self-confidence and self esteem

3)      Promote friendly competition and a fitness as a lifestyle

4)      Develop sportsmanship, leadership, teamwork, listening skills, self-discipline and manners.

The age range for CrossFit Full Throttle Kids  is 5-12 years
Each 30-45 minute class includes: Warm-up, focus /skill work, self-defense drills, WOD and a Game.
Our kids classes are led and coached by Holly Hodges. Holly has been a kids coach in a variety of sports, self-defense and martial arts for many years and is an amazing instructor and mentor.

Classes are

Tuesdays and Fridays
4:15 pm - 5:00 pm

Pricing:
Current CrossFit Full Throttle members:
$79 for the first child
$59 for each additional child in the same household

Non-members:

$99 for the first child
$79 for each additional child in the same household

CrossFit Full Throttle Kids’ Program Rules for Kids
  1. “Freeze!” means stop right away, no matter what you are doing.
  2. No swinging from or playing on any equipment unless instructed by a CrossFit Full Throttle coach
  3. You must stay inside the activity area at all times
  4. No running outside by yourself at any time during class
  5. Bad behavior WILL NOT be tolerated. Period!
  6. Have fun!


CrossFit Full Throttle Kids’ Program Rules for Adults 
  1. Adults are cheerleaders, NOT coaches. Positive cheering is encouraged; giving direction/cues is not.
  2. Absolutely NO CELL PHONES. Please put your phone on vibrate before the start of class and take the calls outside if needed.
  3. Stay outside of the designated activity areas unless asked by a CrossFit Full Throttle coach.
  4. Be on time! It's extremely important that your child is properly
  5. Please make us aware of any injuries of changes in your child's health that might affect them during the workout.
  6. Please help pick up the gym after class.
  7. Classes average 30-45 minutes in length. Please be prompt in picking up your child. We are not a daycare. Please provide reading material, homework or other activities for your child to complete while waiting to be picked up.
  8. Children not enrolled in the CrossFit Full Throttle Kids program are not permitted to play on or use ANY of the equipment in the gym unless instructed to do so by a CrossFit Full Throttle coach.
  9. You must hand off your child directly to the CrossFit Full Throttle Kids program head coach. NO other CrossFit Full Throttle coach is permitted to accept your child.
